This EP is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Katatonia's Brave Murder Day. The purveyors of extreme emotive metal will never be matched. "Drowned" is an original Draudr song featuring the bleak melodic trappings Katatonia have been delivering for 30 years.

This is my favorite album by Mexican death metal stalwarts The Chasm, by a wide margin. All the meandering, proggy excursions of previous releases have been brutally curtailed in favor of mountains on mountains of riffs, and the result is a release that is tighter and more focused than any of their output in the last decade+. Consider my interest renewed. Patiently awaiting the next one.
